The Cocktail Heatmap: Where to Drink Right Now in Miami, February 2019
In Eater Miami
By Olee Fowler
Here’s a freshly updated version of Eater’s Cocktail Heatmap, a guide to the hot drinking dens and restaurant bars of the moment in South Florida. Rather than feature the perennial favorites and classic go-tos (you can find those here and here), this guide focuses on operations that have open less than one year.
Happy drinking, and as always, feel free to write in with new suggestions to the tip line.
1 Kaido Miami
151 NE 41st St Unit 217
Miami, FL 33137
Brad Kilgore has teamed up with award-winning bartender Nico de Soto for his latest creation, Kaido, a Japanese-inspired bar and lounge. On the drink menu guests can expect Japanese-twists on classic cocktails, served alongside shareable bites like blue crab Rangoon and uni fondue. Tucked behind Kaido is its “secret” speakeasy called AMA, which offers its own drinking experience in a more intimate setting.
